GALENTINE’S SCULPT + LOVE MONTH RECAP <3
February is such a fun month!! The hustle of the Christmas & new year’s holidays settle a little bit and the year really gets going. I say this every year, but it’s truly so hard to imagine we’re already through the first two months of the year and that spring is just around the corner. We have so many summer & fall travel plans + lots of goals to work through still which makes me so inspired and excited for what’s to come!
Given that it’s the month of LOVE - I thought I’d recap a super fun and girly event that Charlotte & I hosted a few weekends ago in collaboration with the pilates studio we teach at + little bits of our Valentine’s day. Let’s get into it!
GALENTINE’S SWEEET & SPICY SCULPT
On Superbowl Sunday, we had soooo much fun hosting a dynamic sweet & spicy sculpt class for all the gals! Ellen from Whitecap Coffee showed out with the cutest coffee cart - offering local espresso lattes with valentine’s inspired flavors like orange & vanilla, red velvet, and strawberry shortcake! It was such a fun way to soak up the holiday, encourage girl time and move our bodies in a fun and fresh way! On the 14th, Wyatt and I celebrated by grabbing coffee & flowers from another local coffee cart (our friends Amanda & Anthony of JellyBean Co.) who popped up at FlowerBody floral HQ in West Palm! She had the most stunning & creative valentine’s inspired bouquets on sale - I love her unique floral selection and how each bouquet feels one of a kind! The weather was lovely so we strolled around our favorite historic neighborhood’s estate sale before heading home for a paint date! We ordered a painting set online that came with an array of acrylic paint colors, brushes, canvases and easels. We haven’t used an easel when painting in the past and I’m so glad we have them now! We set up our FlowerBody florals on our dining table and painting them from different perspectives - WOW was that tough. I always joke that I love painting more abstract/geometric work since achieving realism in art is so tough. It’s a fun way to connect to your creative side though which I love! Then we shared a home-cooked sun-dried tomato rigatoni & that was our night. Happy Valentine’s & Love Month to all <3 & a reminder to continue celebrating love all throughout the year - romantic, platonic, familial.. it can be cheesy but it’s necessary to remember that life is short + deserves to be celebrated. Do what makes you happy & find joy in all the love around us. xxx!
